  2. I am on a low carb/high fat diet. And it works for me! That said, I perform language editing on scientific and medical research. I've seen that when scientists want to create a rat model for diabetes, they feed the rats a high fat diet. And it always works, of course. The rats get diabetes. But why? What is going on? Like I said, I know that fat is not the enemy. But why does a high fat diet create diabetic model rats?

  5. The fact that humans in general find excess belly fat to be less than optimal aesthetically comes off as as "hint" to me that our Intelligent Designer did not want this for us. I can appreciate the Dr's attitude but at the end of the day it's intuitive (to me) that science will conclude that unsightly belly fat itself DOES deliver negative consequences to human physiology. You can color me un-surprised on that day…

  8. I'm blown away by this channel. Thank you Dr Ekberg. Amazing knowledge explained well. I'm currently trying to lose some weight and I'm basically using a modified version of the potatoe hack. I'm eating most potatoes with some fruit and veg thrown in with a cheat meal once a week and I'm finding it very manageable even with exercise. And I'm losing weight. But potatoes are a lot of carbs right? Are potatoes bad? I'm eating them boiled with a tiny bit of salt. Nothing else.

  9. Don't listen to this fool and his media showroom stuff. Just eat a super healthy one meal a day intermittent fasting and do lots more. For energy have maca root herb for energy and is like coffee but far better it doesn't give you jitters or is addictive. Nice flow of extra energy and is packed full of nutrients, it helps your hormone system and more.
