  6. God it's stressful just listening to a long drawn out scientific lecture and then NOTHING about what to do about it except OH WATCH ANOTHER VIDEO! Ugh! No Thank You! Not helpful at all! Who cares about the science of it? I don't and I won't apologize for it. Some people just need to make money and hear themselves talk.

  7. Dr Ekberg, you mention that people look into cortisol because of adrenal fatigue and also the desire to lose weight. I would like to mention something that I consider to be of PARAMOUNT importance… SLEEP!!!!!!!!! My focus on cortisol has always been because it is the CHIEF driver of sleep maintenance issues for the final hours of sleep. The consensus in the medical community seems to be that the primary reason that most people who miss their final sleep cycle is because of chronically elevated cortisol. We know that our circadian rhythms dictate our sleep-wake patterns along with the build up of adenosine in our brains during our waking hours. Getting elevated cortisol under control is CRITICAL for securing 5 sleep cycles!!

  8. Speechless! So much truth and meaning in this video Dr Ekberg. So many things which we have forgotten. It's funny how a breathing exercise I learnt in 2003 actually mentioned breathing out and holding the breath as activating the para sympathetic nervous system. And I'd been skimping on it in the past number of years. At that time I didn't know about Cortisol, GH and weight-loss. I'd been doing Keto for a long time with not much result and then in the past year or so got lazy and gained back the weight. Now have again started again. It's most definitely been the cortisol. Since I got married and shifted home my sleep wake cycles changed cz of my husband. Now I need to go back to my old ways of sleeping at least by 11. He's such a night bird but it will need to be done for me by me. I have tests scheduled for Cortisol etc. Hope to surprise my doctor with good results. Funny how a small change can change everything. Thank you Dr Sten… Will follow and make things right again 🤗🤗

  12. Dr what is the best type of vitamins to take … I have been taking gummy vitamins… and fasting to loose wait…. But it is not working!!!!Then I noticed on all 4 or 5 gummy vitamins had like 4- 6 grams or more of sugar… but Ofer vitamins could have fillers … I am told!!! What is the best ones in your opinion especially if you want to loose weight??? I take D3 fish oil. A Multi coq10 a nd should I be taking vit c and magnesium … and what is the best on those???? Please help it gets so confusing???
