  1. Great video. A lot of knowledge, but I wonder how to make sense to combine IF with running and training in the gym. 2 different types of training. Toss them in the food box, whether it's better after or before.

  2. The best information around. Telling the truth is so rare these days! Fasting is free and big Pharma doesn’t want us to know this! Thank you so much Dr. Ekberg for sharing and educating us with information to help us live healthier and longer!!!

  3. All this is fantastic knowledge, this legend, Fung, Nokes, Lustig, etc. But one of the most important things I have learned is from Nadir Ali, and that is Like tennis, football, sailing, etc fasting is a skill. Very impressive advice

  4. @Dr.StenEkberg I've heard you say in another video that HGH (i believe) is slightly higher when you wake up in the morning so prolonging your first meal of the day to the afternoon (12pm) will keep those HGH levels up vs. eating earlier (8-10am) which interrupts those HGH levels. Also when we eat dinner that our cortisol will be lower therefore theoretically promoting an easier time falling asleep. Can you expand on this in a video perhaps? Specially the benefits of which time meals are eaten and what the benefits of each option in choosing particular windows eg/ 8a-2p vs 10a-4p, 12p-6a in a 6/18. In other words is there a benefit to eating breakfast and not dinner or vice versa? Hope this makes sense. Thank you! Your videos have really inspired me to prioritize long term health rather than immediate weight loss.

  5. iI Don't understand why your videos don't have millions of views.. I guess seeing so many fat people and sick people in this world explains it all!

  6. Hi doc.
When you compare the 3 IF, 18/6, 23/1, and the 5 days fast….
My question is why do you mean by 5 days fast?? How it works? Because on 18/6 and 23/1 works on 5 days too…. I don't see the difference…. May you can help me here to understand…. 😊

  7. Dr. Ekberg, how are gall stones formed? I have heard that the cause of it is the gall bladder not emptying during prolonged fasting. If this is true, how do we prevent that while reaping the benefits of intermittent fasting.

  8. I've been eating low carb for 4 months. For both weight loss and health/inflammation. I'm down 15 lbs. and want to lose another 10 lbs. I started testing my BG and have "self-diagnosed" myself as insulin resistant. I want to fast, but find that about the 15 to 16 hour mark, my body feels like I'm vibrating. My BG is reading at about 180 after 16 hrs. of fasting. As soon as I eat it drops down. Should I keep pushing to make it longer ? or should I eat to bring my BG down when I start to feel bad?

  9. Hello Doctor, thank you for this video and you are the best. I have one question and hope you will find some time to answer. Should we do IF daily? I’m not having body fat more than 15% but I want to keep fit being a sportsman. Please suggest if I should follow IF daily or is there any rules for this. Thank you so much

  10. i've found your video clips very useful and relevant…!!!! in fact, i managed to get on to 72hrs fasting (not intermittent fasting)….this followed previous complete fasting for 24hrs and 48hrs….!!!! what i found however, was that when i have got to the autophaging stage of – and this information i got from another similar dr – 10hrs after my last meal of complete fasting with only water intake for three days (not 5 days after my last intermittent fasting meal as stated here), i accelerated the fat burning in the body by having exercises – walking and jogging, weight lifting and abdominal exercises…!!!!! i found my blood sugar levels dropping by the tens within a 2-3 weeks….!!!! the other thing that i found, is the relatively issue of constipation experience following having a meal…..but i soon found out that drinking more water before visiting the loo, would help with relieving…!!!!! so all in all, i agree with eating the right food, opting for lchf, having a window of 4-5hrs of meal out of 24hrs (omad) but topping them all up with fat burning acceleration – WALKING AND EXERCISE – for those who wish to lose weight….!!!!! my need at the time was lowering blood glucose levels and reversing diabetes type 2 which the medical reports stated was out of scale at above 100 – normal being 15…..i am glad that after committing to reducing the blood glucose levels without taking the prescribed metformin by taking your advice and coupling them with exercise, it didn't take long for me to get back to normal after 3 weeks and am now maintaining the omad forthwith….!!!! bowel motions have greatly improved, and whats more – i indulge myself moderately to "poisonous" junk food and alcohol every once in a blue moon….!!!!! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP – you don't know it, but millions of people around the world just like me have a new lease in life from your service, and for that, may God pours back more blessings into your and yours lives….!!!!!
