  1. Dr. Alan Goldhamer has some of his patients water only fast for 40 days in his TrueNorth Health center. And his results are astonishing. He opened the center in 1984. And he also does research. One wonders whether there is too much research and that's why WebMD can't keep up, or so.

  2. Day 3 on IF 16/8, I walk 10000 steps a days as well, I stored fat in my tummy, time to let that go, I already lost 3 lbs. I was 172lbs now 168lbs…. I will now check every Sunday, but I love the walking so far👌

  4. The "facts" may be distorted here a little. In the study on RA, the fasting worked but it returned when the participants resumed their normal diet. The study says that they were able to keep RA at bay by resuming a vegetarian diet after the fasting. Don't forget that important point. Eating no dairy is ALWAYS a good thing. I cant stress this enough. Do the research. And as for meat it is imperative you eat less than 5 percent of your diet in any form of meat (including fish). Again, do the research people, or just be aware you may suffer the last 10 years of your life in and out of doctors offices. It is up to you how you want to spend the years prior to your death. Do you want to do physical things up until close to your death or do you want to suffer for 10 years prior to your death?

  5. I've been doing (at least) a 16/8 regimen for just over a year. I've lost weight at a slow, consistent pace that I'm happy with and I've gotten quite used to going without food and even exercising while in the fast without adverse effects. I was disappointed with my cholesterol/triglycerides when I had blood work about 9 months in but I plan to keep up with it and see what happens this year.

  6. I started intermittent fasting (16-8) three months ago and I never before felt so good !! I have been doing sports all my life (gymnastics, extreme rock climbing, fitness, diving and for the last six years road cycling). I come from the classic 6 meals a day + sugary snacks and felt often tired during the day. Also my hip had an inflammation that wouldn’t go away. Not to speak about quality of sleep. Since I started intermittent fasting and took sugar out of my habit, my hip feels like new, I can do squats again, brain fog dissapeared, I sleep very deep and as a nice by-product my bodyfat dropped to 9% (not bad for 54 years of age right).   7. Am just starting out and clearing my larder of carbohydrates – using them up within my 2 meals a day (18 / 6 intermittent fasting). Thank you for your videos which are very informative, non-sensationalist and not advertising (and therefore unbiased). It will be interesting to see your other videos too. Have therefore subscribed.
