  1. Dr Ekberg, I have been on a keto diet for only 3 weeks. I have cleaned out my pantry and fridge of sugar, flour, rice, carbohydrates and all processed foods.
I am binge watching your videos from the start BUT it is taking a huge amount of time writing information down and doing screen shots of all your charts and printing them out. Unfortunately I donโ€™t have the luxury of time (I am 70 years old) but this is the only way I can learn.
I want to know if you can suggest a book I can buy to read and study with similar information and charts in it like yours. You explain everything excellently.
    Hoping you can help me.

  2. I found your video by accident and I did know keto at all at beginning. Now. To my surprise, I lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks easily by listening and following your video. From 140 to 130 pounds. Thank you.

  3. Hi Dr. my recent blood tests revealed that my Cholesterol was 6.2 (Australian measurement) I was asked to bring it down. Iโ€™m on a no carb diet but low carb on some days. I have lost five kilos but worried about my cholesterol. Would the high protein diet be a problem. Butter etc ? Please respond. Many thanks.

  4. Hi drEkberg Just found you. Youre great, great!!
Please explain why someone could say that the brain needs fat to work well. But i just heard you say that the brain need 'sugar'.
What do you say about demensia and Alzxheimers if i say my thinking that bc the companys take away most fat, and tell we must eat vegetable fat; Becell, Lรคtt&Lagom, Lรคtta….Can it be that so many get brainproblem bc they dont get fat?

  5. This is purely an inference, but I think the rationale for the carb/grain laden food pyramid stemmed from a Cold War strategy to provide sustenance in the event of a catastrophe. Unlike meats, fruits, and vegetables, grains will keep for long periods and at room temperature. Could that at least partially explain why governments and the food pyramid were so wrong?

  6. Frequent meals and lots of carbs makes me constantly hungry, which leads to feeling like there is a suitcase strapped to my tummy, and I do not like that feeling so……

  7. Maybe some people are scared of acetone, that they wouldn't even use to wipe up glue. Makes sense that a Type 3 Diabetic would feel better in the brain. Now there is no contradiction with my experience. Does any other animal "enter ketosis"? The Liver is an amazing system.

  8. I have done Keto Diet and had a hard time keeping it up. Is it possible to reach a middle ground with carbs and ketosis? Example: What about eating only carbs at night? No carbs at breakfast or lucnh, but eating all the carbs you want at night? Will this push me in the right direction or will it not work? My thoughts on this working are: I have read that the glucose from a meal gets used during the next 5h after the meal. If this is truely the case, then your body may start the day using glucose, but then switch a little to ketones in the afternoon until you reach your dinner. Thanks for your answer!

  9. Thank you so much Dr Ekberg for all your help, you're amazing, may you be blessed. I feel alive at last and I am so grateful that I came across to your videos. Hope that many people will benefit from your teaching like I did. You're a true champion ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜˜
