The ketogenic diet is incredibly popular. It is a very healthy diet if you eat natural foods provided by nature. While you are on the keto low carb diet your body will produce ketone bodies for energy instead of running on carbohydrates also known as a state of ketosis.

Many people want to lose weight and there are tons of videos on weight loss out there. I have a few videos on keto and low carbs diets. I will give you an honest doctor’s take on the keto diet. I have had hundreds of hours of nutritional training on what is healthy and high-fat low-carb diets. Medical doctors usually don’t get any nutritional education, so I hope you will learn a lot about how healthy the keto diet really is. The ketogenic diet claims to help burn body fat for energy, therefore helping you lose weight quickly. Find out if it is healthy to lose weight fast and what the best weight loss diet is.

    Quick story. Raised in Western New York, and pizza, pasta, beer, pierogi, you name it. Fast food out of the waz! I married and moved to Mexico where all of the food I began to eat was natural. Minus tortillas, most of the "guisados" are keto friendly. Meats, fats, and a salsa. I got really sick. It was absolutely NOT the water. ๐Ÿ˜‚. I was withdrawaling from the SAD. But, there was a great amount of fructose in the junk food, which there is plenty of here, too. So enter keto/IF and I got sick again as I weaned off sugar. I drank at least 3 litres of Red Cola every weekend. Along with overeating sweet breads I was a mess. Lost 33 pounds in 100 days on keto/IF now, and I feel great. So I am going to keep low carb and IF, and I don't have any more problems. Thank you for your help and what you do. Godspeed! ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘

  5. I watched that video as it popped out, and it was the first time I gave a video a thumb down as he did not even have clean Keto. Out of all the doctors that talked about Keto, Dr. Ekberg is overall the best!!!

  8. The real reason that Doc Mike is not in favor of keto is that he is a plants heavy diet advocate and he still considers saturated fat bad in favor of "healthy veg oils". Allopathic medical doctors don't have any nutrition training anyway so his opinion is moot

  9. Im so happy I found your channel and am on the path to health. I have been diagnosed with hypertension since I was 22, obese and unhappy with my life. Finding Dr Ekberg has jumpstarted my weight loss journey and I am now 39 lbs less and feeling healthier than I have ever had. Ive been on this weightloss journey for only 3 months and I am happy with my now healthy blood pressure and being able to move in my body without pain.

I s not easy going on Keto diet but is worth it if you really want to be healthy I can not digest well fats with gall bladder issues but cut sugars and carbs and the fasting i go as far as i can with stomach acids problems but I do not snack and do not eat often. Hard to do all organics foods not easy to find in supermarkets

  11. I never thought I could go a couple of hours without food. I'm 50+ in menopause and consumed sugar & carbs All day, which had major cravings as a result. ;-( After watching a few of your videos my whole life has changed. I do IF every second day & it is not difficult. I also follow the Keto diet and I'm Never hungry ๐Ÿ˜‹ Honestly if I can do 20 -24 IF anybody can. Thank you Dr for opening my eyes.
