  1. I stopped seeing my doctors for many years already. Seeing dentist when I have a problem and cleaning once a year. No x-ray, no prescription, no mammogram and no colonoscopy. I research online and go with my guts. Intermittent fasting, high nutrition diet and walking 2 hours daily, hiking weekend. Watching these informative videos to educate myself. I know I will be fine. 68 years old, never get sick and never get overweight all my life. Bmi stable at 18. Thank you Dr Ekberg

  2. I’ve discovered Dr Ekberg’s channel recently and I’m hooked on since. I’ve started to watch Sugar and Carbohydrates as two potential enemies, the only problem I face now is planning meals has become the most confusing task of the day. It would be great if Dr Ekberg can catalogue his videos in a way that informational videos are in one category and actionable information is in another

  3. When it comes to the idea of "de-toxifying" any part of the body, I'm more in agreement with the medical 'mainstream', I'm afraid. Kidney FUNCTION can certainly be
    compromised, but I believe the idea of de-toxifying is not exactly accurate. Getting into "Dr. Oz daytime tv doctor" territory, I'd say. Just my (non-doctor) opinion.

  4. Powdered turmeric, largely imported from Pakistan, is contaminated with Lead Chromate, a toxic substance used to enhance color. Not good for kidney's or any part of the body.

  5. my grandmother had problems with her kidneys (pretty sure they were failed) and she did dialysis for over 10 years as I remember and she passed away 2 years ago πŸ™

    Would you please do a video, in which you explain all the values in what a normal blood work and what they really mean in relation to our organs and their functionality?

  7. Great video. 4 weeks ago my GFR was 60. My doctor advised me to stop taking protein supplements and creatine. I dedicated to stop taking creating but continue with the whey protein. 4 weeks later my GFR was 72 and my creatinine level was 96.
    Is there a way that I can increase my GFR even further?
