  1. Dr Ekberg, I truly enjoy all your videos. I recently watched this one about the 10 foods we must eat on a regular basis. I am curious why you did not include legumes, I heard a panel of 4 Doctors who all highly recommended eating a variety of beans every weeks.
    Also, may I recommend that you consider sprouts, they can easily and cheaply be grown at home and in 3-4 days are ready to toss into a sandwich, a salad, or a smoothie. And from what I’ve read, the nutritional value is on “steroids”. The seeds are cheap and both the seeds and the sprouting apparatus can be delivered to your home in just a few days.   2. I have high cholesterol, not obese but let's say I eat too much pasta and bread. I love eggs so my question is having a high choleterol level and tryglycerides how dangerous are eggs for someone like me. 270 mg/dL

  3. Thank you Dr. Ekberg. It’s Dec 26th and my Christmas gift to myself this year is to buckle down and make myself the healthiest version of me that I can be. So much to live for but in my 50s and post hysterectomy I’ve found myself in a rut. I can exercise till the cows come home but I’ve been on a nutritional roller coaster. I came across your videos several months ago but didn’t devote myself to keeping up with the content. YOU are now part of my daily/weekly plan. On my way, started today. Will check in when my body feels at its best, not setting a hard goal but know in my heart it’s at least 30 lbs from now. Strong and healthy, sleeping well, energized and focused, increased flexibility and enhanced mood are the goals.   5. 🤔 Berries the only available fruits in the past? This might be applicable to some countries but not to those within the subtropic and tropic areas! The colder the climate the smaller the fruits are including the amount of water enclosed.

    🤔 Not everywhere you can buy meat or fish (especially in big cities) not being poisened by antibiotics or other stuff 🙄

    🤔 Bonus: If you want 0% sugar added to your chocolate then try to get pure raw or roasted coco beans from Mexico 😉

  7. Spend most of the budget on pasture raised eggs, grass fed dairy including butter, organic mostly with pasture raised chicken. Grass fed ground beef is more affordable, eat it often and grass fed beef other than ground beef as often as we can, but eat beef that is grass finished. Buy grass fed when on sale and in bulk.

    Best peanut butter is the store that offers you a way to make your own by grinding peanuts, only one ingredient.

    fyi: snake bites, malaria, and poisonous frogs are "natural".

  9. About the eggs – watch out for fakes, because there are some huge, mass-production farms that feed the hens additives to make the yoke of the egg look more healthy.

  10. you lost me at meat… The hunter gatherers were in fact mostly gatherers… if you look at the last surviving tribes around the world you can see how not very successful they are at hunting. So yes, they did have some meat but quite rarely and unimaginable in the industrial quantities we have today. Instead they had a ton of nuts and seeds and root and vege and it makes sense because meat causes inflammation in the body, no matter the billions invested by the industry to claim anything else, it's really that simple, it causes inflammation and to deal with inflammation you need proper vitamins and antioxidants which you'd get from plants, well used to get because today plants are it at all used as decoration or seasoning rather than the main meal. And while our ancestors had plenty of gut bacteria and nutrients to balance out the negative effects of ANY type of animal foods, we don't…
